Meet Dr. Tyffani, Mia, & Zoe

​Dr. Tyffani Monford Dent, a licensed psychologist and her GenZ daughters, Mia & Zoe, created LATI to meet the needs of Black Girls/Emerging Adults, and Black nonbinary youth with a primary focus on those within the Midwest and eventually expanding to the Southeast. The co-founders recognized that there was a dearth of organizations focused on people who looked like them and required services recognizing their intersectional identities. Yet, they did not want to begin another mentoring program as their goal was to have a larger, more systemic impact on the lives of Black Girls/Emerging Adults, and Black nonbinary youth.
